We invite you to join and support the 6th Annual Tante’s Kökua Scholarship Golf
Tournament sponsored by the Tante & Araceli Urban Foundation. It will be held on Saturday,
October 7, 2023. The Golf Tournament will be held at the Kona Country Club.
Proceeds from this year’s tournament will fund the Foundation’s Scholarship programs that
assist students to pursue higher education. When the news fo the devastating fires on Maui
were reported, our hearts were broken for our brothers, sisters and keiki on Maui. We knew we
had to kökua. Part of this year’s proceeds willl go to the keiki who were directly affected by this
disaster. These funds will allow many keiki to return to school and continue their education

To date, we have donated over $58,000 to scholarships, culture and arts, athletics and other

awaena boys soccer program, 8th Maui Regional Science Olympiad Tournament, U.H. Maui

College I.M. Ready Study Abroad Program, Kona Dance & Performing Arts, Partners and De-
velopment Foundation Tutu and Me Program, U.H. Palamanui Campus Culinary Arts Schol-
arship, Kealakehe Water Polo Team, West Hawaii Exploration Academy, Makua Lani

Christian Academy, and graduating seniors from Kealakehe and Konawaena high schools.
